I love snack time. Even more, my kiddos love snack time. In their minds, all the time is snack time. So if I can manage to find a snack that’s healthy, filling, and tasty, we all consider it a win.
I started making Peanut Butter Balls years ago, when I found the recipe in my More With Less cookbook.
This is the updated version of the cookbook, which was first published in the late 70s or early 80s, but it is a fantastic book with simple, wholesome recipes for families living on a budget and for those who want to be mindful of consumption.
These PB balls could be considered a cookie, as they have a little sweetness to them. The recipe is quite flexible, so if you are allergic to peanut butter, you can easily substitute another nut butter into the mix.
These require no baking, no eggs, no oil, and no processes sugar.

These peanut butter balls are healthy, easy to make, and a wonderful treat for the whole family.

- 1/2 cup peanut or other nut butter
- 1 cup dry milk
- 1 cup whole oats
Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Shape into 1.5" balls and place on cookie sheet. Can be eaten immediately or stored in the refrigerator for several days.
